i don't have a green thumb....i'm not a gardener by any stretch of the imagination (in fact, the plants i bought over a week ago are still sitting in front of my house waiting to be planted).... this AM i woke up totally on the wrong side of the bed....to say i was in a monday morning funk would be an understatement.  i stayed up entirely too late doing important things like watching bravo's shahs of sunset (did i seriously admit that), then i got in bed and started thinking about all the things i had to do this week....i stared at the ceiling for a very long time....then the alarm went...

i've got big expectations for today....front porch makeover b/c boy does she need some help!  i have had the rattan swing hanging up but it came down, when taylor was in it, and so i'm ready to retire her for a while.  my sweet neighbor gave me a chippendale bench and i'm about to take some clorox to it and some fun paint.  then i really want to repaint my front door- i'm thinking green,...

sorry for being MIA...we had a rough weekend.  we lost our sweet doggie barron.  we got barron right after warren and i got married and moved into our first home, seven and half yrs ago.  it is not fun being  a grown up and making painful decisions.  it is equally not fun to have to tell little taylor that barron is in heaven.  we know he's safe and sound and no longer...
